Bonfire Night, Anonymous and who was Guy Fawkes
Bonfire night
Guy Fawkes Night, Bonfire Night is celebrated every fifth of November in the UK and many other countries of the former Commonwealth.
The reason for marking this day is a failed conspiracy aimed at overthrowing the Protestant King James I.
- This conspiracy is known in history as the Gunpowder Conspiracy.
Guy Fawkes was one of the conspirators who organized the Gunpowder Conspiracy.
He and his like-minded people set up barrels full of gunpowder in the basement of the parliament building to blow up the building and thus overthrow the Protestant King James I from power.
One of the members of the parliament received an anonymous letter warning him not to go to the opening ceremony of the parliament that day.
- After a detailed search of the building, the conspiracy was discovered and Guy Fawkes and other organizers were captured, tortured and executed.
“Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder, treason and plot,
I know of no reason
Why gunpowder treason Should ever be forgotten
.”
Although most are not fully aware of the historical background of the “gunpowder conspiracy” on November 5, 1605, today the masks of Guy Fawkes are a symbol of the revolt of anti-globalists, hackers “Anonymous”, Anarchists and all the dissatisfied.
Anonymous – what is it?
- Anonymous is not a group, nor an organization, nor an exclusive club, Anonymous is not a political party – Anonymous does not have membership cards – Anonymous is not a person.

Anonymous is the Idea
- Specifically, it is the idea that we all deserve Freedom.
Freedom of thought, speech, expression, knowledge, belief.
The freedom to determine the direction and goal of our lives.
- If you also share these ideas – then you are also “Anonymous”.
You have probably heard many things about Anonymous – some of them are true – and some are not.
- We are not hackers.
- We are not terrorists.
- We are not violent.
- We are just citizens of the World who testify to tyranny, oppression and censorship.
- We are activists seeking to change the system and the cycle of corruption.
- We demand that transparency be created in governments and all public service institutions.
- We are a resistance to those who seek to have our rights as human beings violated.
- We like to refer to Articles 46, 43 and 23 of the Constitution of the Republic.
- We are a collective of Free Individuals.
- We have no leaders who dictate to us methods of resistance and way of life.
- Some of us are really hackers, who use our skills to make critical information available to the public.
- Some of us are organizers of protests and rallies.
- Some of us voluntarily feed those who cannot feed themselves in our free time.
- We are your neighbors, your friends, relatives and acquaintances.
- We prepare food, serve drinks, repair your appliances, write books, paint, compose music, make programs and sites.
- We are your postal workers, barbers, newspaper sellers, doctors and lawyers.
- We are socialists
- We are capitalists
- We are atheists
- We are religious
- None of us is as powerful as all of us put together.
- We are united as one.
- We are just – Anonymous
..under this mask is the Idea – and the Ideas are indestructible
– You can’t join Anonymous – Anonymous is neither an association nor an exclusive club with a membership card – there are no leaders or bosses – there is not even a hard ideology – we are just people who pass one part of their Way together .. And on that Way – maybe the world will change – at least a little .. Anonymous does not have any headquarters from which to conduct, the Internet is used – mostly social networks for communication – when due to the insertion of fake it becomes compromising – just move on to the next network .. Anonymous do not meet – no representations, do not ask for names or information – nor give them to others.
- Society must allow the sharing of information and communication without prohibition and censorship if it contributes to cultural and technological progress
- Every citizen must be allowed to organize their own associations without harassment by existing institutions, privileged with greater resources, influence and power.
- The privacy of every citizen to live in a free and open society must be respected and must not be the target of illegal surveillance.
- Privacy is guaranteed by associations created by citizens and their communities.
It is the duty of every citizen to take action and strive to maintain a free and open society
